There is only one meeting scheduled for today (September 19th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Common Council will gather in the Council Chambers at 6:30 p.m. where Mayor Justin Nickels will declare October Crime Prevention Month, and the first week of October as Mental Illness Awareness Week.
Then there will be three public hearings, including one regarding a transitional warming shelter at First Presbyterian Church.
The plan commission will also present a conditional use permit submitted by the church for the shelter.
The Personnel Committee will then present a resolution to approve the revised COVID protocols section of the employee manual, and the Public Infrastructure Committee will present a proposal for a stormwater project on Hecker Road and Viebahn Street.
