Head coach Mark Johnson has announced that senior forward Britta Curl will be the hockey Badgers’ team captain for the upcoming season.
Curl was an alternate captain on Wisconsin’s 2021 NCAA Championship squad before taking an Olympic redshirt last season.
Joining Curl on the leadership team are senior defender Natalie Buchbinder, senior defender Nicole LaMantia, and junior forward Casey O’Brien.
Those three will serve as alternative captains.
The third-ranked Badgers open the season at Penn State next Thursday and Friday.
