The University of Wisconsin-Superior has announced plans to build a new all-season sports stadium.
The Superior Choice Credit Union Stadium will be home to the Yellowjackets’ track and field and soccer teams.
The facility will be located next to the university’s wellness center.
Construction on the stadium is scheduled to begin next spring with its opening coming next fall.
To make room, the Ole Haugsrud Stadium grandstand will be torn down.
