State Senator Andre Jacque is inviting students to apply for the Senate Scholar Program.
The Senate Scholar Program consists of an advanced government curriculum that includes classroom instruction, roundtable discussion sections, and a lab component.
Experts teach Scholars about constituent relations, research and development of legislation, and bill drafting.
Scholars also engage in roundtable discussions with legislative support agency directors and staff, media, and lobbyists throughout the week, resulting in further insight into all facets of the legislative process.
Applications can be found at SenateScholar.com, and are due by November 15th.
