Camp Tapawingo near Mishicot is celebrating its’ 60th Anniversary this weekend with a special 1-day Open House.
Located on 78 acres of land along the East Twin River, Camp Tapawingo has a variety of habitats, rustic cabins, a nature center, a main lodge, a dining hall, and an arts and crafts center.
Local and area residents are invited to the camp, located at 915 West Tapawingo Road, this Sunday from 2 until 4 p.m. to see for themselves what’s offered there.
The website said the camp offers a fun, caring, and safe environment for young people to try new activities and practice new skills.
