COVID-caused financial losses could force two giant health care systems in southeastern Wisconsin to cut some clinical services.
Advocate Aurora Health president and C-E-O Jim Skogsbergh says the losses for his system in the first seven months of this year are “unheard of.”
Froedtert Health finished in the red in five out of the last six months.
Froedtert CEO Cathy Jacobson says it could take two to three years to return to profitability.
Neither leader specified what clinical services they are considering for cuts.
