The author who wrote a mostly positive biography of Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre is now saying people shouldn’t read the book he wrote.
Author Jeff Pearlman wrote “Gunslinger.”
It’s the story of the former Green Bay Packers star quarterback with a strong arm.
Text messages uncovered this week show Favre and former Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant knowingly diverted money from welfare recipients.
Pearlman tweets that Favre is, in his words, a bad guy” who doesn’t deserve the love he gets from fans.
Favre was never charged and he had claimed he didn’t know about any wrongdoing.
