The trial for a 31-year-old woman charged in the fatal crash that killed Wisconsin Public Media director Gene Purcell has been scheduled to begin in February.
Shawnicia Youmas faces a charge of homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle.
Prosecutors say she was driving on the Beltline frontage road last year when she hit the motorcycle the 61-year-old Purcell was riding.
A witness says she ran a stop sign just before the crash and authorities say she was driving nearly 65 miles an hour in a 30 zone at the time.
