The Packers have placed linebacker Krys Barnes on injured reserve while he recovers from an ankle injury suffered in the Vikings game.
The move means Barnes will miss at least four games before he is eligible to return.
His spot on the roster will be filled by offensive lineman Caleb Jones – who was promoted from the practice squad.
Barnes is an important special team player and the top backup behind starting linebacker Quay Walker and De’Vondre Campbell.
Isaiah McDuffie will become the primary backup.
