We now know what caused the sudden departure of the Green Bay Area Public School District’s Interim Superintendent from the School Board Meeting on Monday.
The District has revealed that Superintendent Vickie Bayer is recovering in a hospital after suffering a heart attack.
In her absence, Interim Deputy Superintendent Judy Wiegand and District administration will oversee day-to-day operations.
Bayer has been on the job since April as she took over for now retired Stephen Murley.
