Week 4 of the Manitowoc County High School Cross Country Honor Roll is out today.
The top runner in both the boys and girls divisions remain the same, Mason Gates of Manitowoc Lincoln and Mikaela Helling of Two Rivers.
Gates recently set a new school record in the 5K covering the distance in 15-minutes and 28 seconds.
He’s followed in the top 5 by Ethan Vander Meer of Kiel (16:53), Caleb Jatczak of Lincoln, Pierce Arenz of Kiel, and Eli Gallagher of Two Rivers.
Helling has an area best time of 19:03, with the remainder of the top-5 girls runners being Ships freshman Sarah Bolchen (20:31), and the Kiel trio of Lily Watson, Addison Vogel, and Lillian Larson.
