Badgers defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard says he is focusing on making Wisconsin’s defense better after last weekend’s 17-14 loss to Washington State.
Multiple sources are naming Leonhard as a possible replacement for fired Nebraska head coach Scott Frost.
Leonhard has been Wisconsin’s defensive coordinator for six seasons and his defenses have allowed the fewest yards and the third-fewest points in the nation.
Frost was fired after the Cornhuskers were upset last weekend, giving his team a 1-and-2 record.
Nebraska has been 16-and-31 over the last four seasons under Frost’s leadership.
