The Manitowoc Public School District’s Board of Education will be holding its first public meeting since the start of classes, and there is a lot on the agenda.
The meeting will be held in the Board Room in the MPSD Office on Lindbergh Drive at 6:00 p.m.
The public will, as always, have some time at the beginning of the meeting to voice their comments before the Board goes over the minutes of all of the previous committee meetings.
They will also review payment vouchers and financial reports before designating a youth options coordinator.
The Board will also get an update regarding an evidence-based comprehensive whole school reform program, before looking into the Strategic Plan.
One of the biggest items on the agenda is the second reading of the revised policy that relates to controversial issues being discussed in the classroom.
They will also read the changes made to the school visitors policy before hearing remarks from the Board President, Stacey Soeldner.
