The Kohler Company has named a new Executive Chairman.
The role was held by Herb Kohler Jr., who passed away last weekend, but now the position is held by David Kohler, Herb’s son.
The Board of Directors decided to name David to the position as he was already serving as president and Chief Executive Officer.
This also makes him the 4th generation of the Kohler family to hold the position since the company was founded in 1873 and the 9th person to hold the position.
David has been with the company for 31 years and worked his way up the food chain, starting on the manufacturing line.
