Packers head coach Matt LaFleur is optimistic about the status of his injured players after the season-opening loss.
He says rookie linebacker Quay Walker could play this week against the Bears
Walker had seven solo tackles before he was sent to the bench with a shoulder injury.
Kris Barnes was also injured, and though his injury is more serious, he won’t be out for the rest of the season.
Also hurt in the Minnesota game were guard Jon Runyan Junior and cornerback Keisean Nixon.
Their availability for the Chicago game hasn’t been determined.
