Fundraising efforts continue and are much-needed for the new press box and signage honoring football coach Jerry Bonino at Two Rivers High School.
Hundreds of Raider fans attended a pre-game reception and halftime ceremony that officially changed the name of the playing surface to Jerry Bonino Field on August 19th.
The three state championship trophies were shined up and on display along with Coach Bonino’s plaque, honoring him for his induction into the Wisconsin Football Coaches Hall of Fame.
Former Raiders player and a member of that championship run, Tim Broderick, chairs the committee that’s raising funds to appropriately honor the former teacher and coach with stadium enhancements.
Broderick says to donate go to tworivers.revtrak.net or, if you’d like to buy a commemorative brick to support Jerry Bonino Field, order online at 4everbricks.com/donors/trhs.
