There are three meetings on the calendar for today in the City of Manitowoc.
First up is the Committee on Aging, which will gather at 1:30 p.m. in the Senior Center.
After introducing their new Administrative Support Specialist, Tari Gunzel, and Recreation Team Leader Michelle Michels, the group will look over their financial report.
The Manitowoc Public Utilities Commission will gather at 4:00 in the MPU Offices and closing out the day will be the Public Safety Committee.
They will be in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m. and will start by giving the public time to voice their comments.
They will then receive a presentation regarding Bird public use scooters and will discuss the installation of rapid flashing beacon signs at the intersection of South 23rd and Dewey Streets.
The Committee will also discuss a possible amendment to the section of the Municipal Code that regulates heavy traffic routes, and a request to extend the no parking zone at New York Avenue and North 11th Street along the northbound lane leading to New York Avenue.
