A prominent Manitowoc law firm has moved its offices from downtown, to a near northside building.
Kummer, Lambert, Fox, Glandt & Nelson LLP are now in the former home of the American Red Cross and The Crossing of Manitowoc County at 205 North 8th Street.
Law partner Trent Nelson tells Seehafer News they moved from their former location at 927 S. 8th Street for a number of reasons, mainly client convenience.
“Having a one-story building at a law firm that has a decent amount of clients or clients that aren’t able to get up to the second floor was really important for us,” Nelson explained. “In addition, the change to a two-way street makes it a pretty easy location to get to and definitely the development that has taken place on this side of town with Mike Howe and some of the other developers makes this a prime location for us going forward.”
Nelson said the guys at All Out Moving did a great job with the move in just two days.
“We moved effective September 1st into this building,” he revealed. “We moved the Thursday and Friday prior to that and really the next week was just unpacking and trying to get organized and getting everyone up and running with a new IT system and managed service provider for our internet and getting the phone system working.”
Nelson also credited John Koss Builders for the renovation work they did inside their new location over the course of several months.
