The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers used a big 8th inning to pick up their third consecutive win over the Beloit Sky Carp last night 4-1.
Rattler starter Alexander Cornielle started a little rough, giving up a solo shot to Dalvy Rosario on the second pitch of the game, but he settled down and only allowed two hits through six innings.
He also struck out seven batters while the offence tied the game in the second inning.
Then, no more scoring for either team until Albert Cipion stepped up in the 8th inning with runners on 2nd and 3rd.

Jose Acosta would add a solo shot to make it 4-1, and pitcher Brandon Jordan would come on in the 9th to secure the win.
The Rattlers will look for their 4th win in a row tonight, and will do so in their lederhosen inspired jerseys.
Game four of the series against Beloit is slated to begin at 6:40 p.m. at Fox Cities Stadium.
