The Wisconsin Elections Commission is telling voters with disabilities they can get help from others when mailing or delivering absentee ballots.
The new guidance from the commission would allow anyone returning an absentee ballot for a disabled voter to do that without providing any identification.
The guidance was approved Tuesday after a Republican member of the commission, Marge Bostelman, sided with Democrats to break a three-to-three stalemate.
Republicans wanted various forms of ID to be required.
