The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers had to come from behind to do it, but they won last night 4-3 over the Beloit Sky Carp.
The Rattlers and the Carp traded runs in the first two innings, and a two-run home run by Bennett Hostetler in the 5th put the Carp up by two.
The Rattlers would add one run in the bottom of that inning, but heading into the 8th, they were still down by one run.
Then, Jeferson Quero stepped to the plate with one on and two outs and blasted a shot over the left field wall. James Meeker would step on the mound in the 9th and would strike out two of the remaining three batters to secure the win.
The Rattlers will look for their 3rd consecutive win tonight against the Carp at Fox Cities Stadium.
First pitch is at 6:40 p.m. on a night were the Appleton based ballclub will be giving away winter hats.
