A defense attorney out of Green Bay is now on the other side of the lawyer/client relationship after he allegedly assaulted a Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy.
According to the criminal complaint, Mark Howe was attending the Rob Schneider performance at the Epic Event Center on June 16th and was acting unruly.
Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Kelly Milks ask Howe to leave, but 10 minutes later, he was in the parking lot causing a commotion.
As Deputy Milks approached Howe, he began to run away.
She chased after him, and multiple times grabbed Howe to take him into custody.
The last time she did, Howe pulled away, and Deputy Milks fell to the ground.
Her knee popped, and she was unable to get up.
Howe was eventually arrested, but as he was placed into a squad car, he made several derogatory statements about Deputy Milks.
He has been charged with Resisting an Officer Resulting in Substantial Bodily Harm or Soft Tissue Injury, Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, and Disorderly Conduct.
Howe’s case has been transferred to Kewaunee County as all eight Brown County Judges recused themselves.
