On a day when they were celebrating the Hall of Fame induction of David Ortiz, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers’ offense exploded for 13 points while shutting out the Beloit Sky Carp.
Jose Accosta had three RBI for the home team, all of which came on a 5th inning home run that would make Big Pappi proud.
Four other batters hit home two runners, including Jeferson Quero who had a two-run blast in the first inning.
Brady Schanuel and Zach mort split the pitching duties, allowing only 4 hits between them while striking out 8 batters.
The Rattlers look to do it again this afternoon on a day being tabbed as Silver Foxes Day.
