
The Two Rivers Girls Volleyball squad battled the state’s 7th ranked team in Division II last night, and, the Raiders dropped all 3 sets to the Freedom Irish 25-10, 25-21 and 25-15.
Despite the loss, Raiders Coach Jeremy Otte said there were some bright spots.
Allyson Kakes had a phenomenal game offensively and defensively, finishing with 12 kills on 15 attempts with zero errors for an almost unheard-of 80% hitting percentage.
She added 11 digs to her highlight performance.
Shelby Gulseth also had a strong night as a setter, racking up 11 assists, and Claire McGinty wound up with 5 kills, 7 digs, 6 assists, and 1 service ace.
The Raiders travel to Kiel for a conference match Thursday night.
