Manitowoc’s new River North Apartments along North 10th Street at River Point Drive is only months away from completion.
During an appearance on Welcome Home with Brandon Bartow this week on WOMT and WCUB Radio, Peter Allie of Park Regency Management gave us a project update.
“Right now we are moving past the roughing phase to the phase where we are hanging drywall and finishing things,” he revealed. “We have had some issues with the supply chain, but overall I think we have been very lucky. We are looking at a completion of late this year or early next year.”
Allie also spoke about the unique offerings of living at River North Apartments.
“Until now there has been limited options for living downtown,” he said. “There’s some condos, there’s some other apartments buildings that there is requirements to live in, but I would say living downtown is probably the biggest thing. You are within walking distance of some of Manitowoc’s best ameneties.”
The Park Regency Management spokesman added, “We think the biggest impact on the downtown isn’t just going to be on Friday and Saturday, as it’s already going to be busy during those days. Rather, with 150 people living at River North, it’s going to be busy during weekdays as well.”
