One of the most important skills a young person can learn is how to cook.
Not everyone needs to be a 5-star Michelin chef, but being able to cook basic meals for yourself can save you a ton of money over the years.
The Manitowoc Public Library is looking to teach this vital skill to area teens later this month with help from Chef Andrew Dunbar from Ryan’s on York.
Registration opened up on Friday for the Teen Lock-In: Hands-On Cooking Class which is scheduled for Friday, September 16th at 6:30 p.m.
You can register by either calling 920-686-3030 or by stopping by the Youth Services desk at the library.
A signed permission form is required for entry to after-hours programs, and space is limited.
