The defense attorney for the teenager accused of killing 10-year-old Lily Peters is trying to have the case moved to juvenile court.
A motion for a reverse waiver hearing will be filed in Chippewa County.
The suspect attended a virtual hearing by Zoom Thursday.
His name hasn’t been released because he is 14 years old.
He is currently charged with first-degree intentional homicide as an adult.
His lawyer, Michael Cohen, waived a preliminary hearing Thursday.
