The man arrested in Texas in connection to a Green Bay homicide had his bail set at $2 million cash.
Gustavo Cantu was apprehended in Kerr County Texas two weeks ago, after spending four months on the run.
He and his brother Alejandro are believed to be responsible for the killing of Randall Denny, who was shot near the intersection of Western and Perkins Avenues on April 30th.
Gustavo has a history of violent crimes, with District Attorney David Lasee noting during the bail hearing that he had “between 20, 25 prior convictions, including a conviction for aggravated assault in 2009 in North Dakota.”
The woman Gustavo was found with, Naomi Rose Cadotte, is also facing charges as she may be a third accomplice.
Alejandro remains on the run, but a $5,000 reward has been issued for any information leading to his arrest.
