Is it a Super Bowl roster?
The Packers have made their final round of cuts to the team’s 53-man roster.
The NFL deadline was Tuesday afternoon.
Green Bay is reportedly hoping to sign several of the players who were cut to its practice squad – including kicker Ramiz Ahmed, wide receiver Samori Toure, at least one more running back, and offensive lineman Caleb Jones who performed so well during the preseason.
Of course, that good performance will make it more likely that another team will pick him up.
Players released Tuesday:
Kicker Ramiz Ahmed, tight end Sal Cannella, safety De’Vante Cross, cornerback back Kabion Ento, quarterback Danny Etling, wide receiver Travis Fulgham, cornerback Rico Gafford, running back Tyler Goodson, linebackers La’Darius Hamilton, defensive lineman Jack Heflin, tackle Caleb Jones, linebacker Kobe Jones, center Michal Menet, defensive lineman Chris Slayton, running back Patrick Taylor, cornerback Kiondre Thomas, linebacker Ray Wilborn, and running back Dexter Williams.
Players Waived:
Tight end Nate Becker, defensive lineman Akiel Byers, safety Shawn Davis, safety Innis Gaines, wide receiver Ishmael Hyman, and tight end Alize Mack.
