
One person has been arrested and taken to the Manitowoc County Jail, following a robbery in the City of Two Rivers last night (August 28th).
Police Lieutenant Nick Spurney said the incident occurred at an eastside residence when the suspect pointed a handgun at the victim while demanding money and fled before officers arrived.
A short time later, police found the 30-year-old suspect at a southside residence, took the male into custody, and transported him to the county jail.
Officers also recovered the handgun believed used in the commission of the crime. The man faces a long list of charges including Robbery-Threat of Force, 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Possession of a Firearm as a Convicted Felon, Possession of Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia, Possessing both Schedule I and II Narcotic Drugs and Felony Bail Jumping.
Lieutenant Spurney explained there is no danger to the public as this was an isolated incident.
