
The suspect involved in a weekend shooting at a Family Dollar store in Fond du Lac has been apprehended.
Officers with the Fond du Lac Police Department had responded to the store in the 500 block of West Johnson Street just after 8:00 p.m. on a report of a shooting involving two vehicles.
They saw one suspect fleeing on foot and took chase.
They caught the 21-year-old man, and he was taken to St. Agnes Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the pursuit.
The man had tossed the handgun while running, but it was recovered.
The other vehicle involved fled while officers chased the man on foot.
A 32-year-old woman was hit by one of the rounds fired and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at St. Agnes as well.
No names have been released as the investigation is ongoing.
