
The USDA has announced their investment in the battle against climate change.
Deputy Secretary Dr. Jewel Bronaugh says the USDA is investing $121 million in critical infrastructure, including $111 million set aside for 289 projects to help people living in socially vulnerable communities, including some local projects.
The Metal Ware Corporation in Two Rivers is slated to get $2,006 to purchase and install LED lighting throughout its production space, office, and warehouse.
This project will save the business $2,294 per year in energy costs.
HWI LLC and TSWI LLC, both of Sheboygan are also on the list. HWI is getting $8,500 while TSWI is getting $16,500, each for the installation of energy-efficient LED lighting.
A total of eight Wisconsin projects are on the list.
