Two Rivers High School hosted a Cross Country Invitational yesterday (Thursday) afternoon.
Notre Dame swept the title in both the Boys and Girls competition, with Manitowoc Lincoln placing runnerup in the 14 school Boys division.
The Ships were paced by returning two-time state qualifier, Mason Gates, who was the individual champion in the race with a time of 15:59.
The Lincoln Girls finished 6th out of 14 teams that included Bay Port as the runner-up.
Freshman Sarah Bolchen medaled for the Ships, placing 13th overall in the 5K run in a time of 21:46.
Meanwhile, Manitowoc Lutheran wound up 8th in the Boys race, paced by sophomore Jacob Kanzenbach in 26th place in 18:46.
The Lancer Girls were 13th, led by another sophomore, Trisha Kiss in 34th place in a time of 23:48.
