U-S Senator Ron Johnson says his involvement in an effort to pass a slate of fake electors to Vice President Mike Pence has been blown out of proportion by Democrats and the media.
The Wisconsin Republican says he had nothing to do with the alternate electors and it’s not something he will need to testify about before the January 6th Committee.
He said his involvement was brief, lasting just a couple of seconds.
Johnson says the committee failed to do its due diligence and blew the situation “into some massive conspiracy.”
