Former Badger linebacker Jack Sanborn is starting to look like an undrafted discovery for the Chicago Bears.
Pro Football Focus reports Sanborn was its top-graded defensive rookie in the first week of preseason games.
He earned a grade of just over 94 for his dominant performance against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Then, he had seven total tackles in the week 2 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks last Thursday.
It isn’t clear whether he will be a starter for the Bears, but he apparently has earned a roster spot so far.
