The Marquette volleyball team has been picked to finish second in the Big East by league coaches.
The Golden Eagles claimed a share of last year’s regular season title with Creighton.
The Bluejays are the coaches’ pick to win this time.
Middle blocker Carsen Murray was named to the preseason All-Big East Conference team.
She started all 32 matches last season and led Marquette with a .336 hitting percentage.
She also had 95 blocks and 169 kills.
The Golden Eagles compiled a record of 26-and-6 last season.
