The Sheboygan County SaberCats fell short in their bid to repeat as Midwest United Football League champions.
At Tremper High School in Kenosha, the Cats fell to the Midwest Renegades 30-13.
The game started well for the Rattlers, as they marched down the field, and QB Tyler Manning hit Ashon Anderson for a touchdown, but the Renegades struck back with a quick touchdown of their own.
The teams entered halftime with the Cats leading 7-6, but several quick scores shifted the tide, and the Renegades took a 30-6 lead.
John Simon took over at QB and was able to pick up a touchdown on a throw to Kaden Summerville, but that was all the SaberCats could manage.
