One of special counsel Michael Gableman’s most consistent critics has said she is putting out a statement that “it’s about time” the former state Supreme Court justice was fired.
Republican State Senator Kathy Bernier of Chippewa Falls said Gableman’s conduct while he reviewed the outcome of the 2020 presidential election in Wisconsin was, at times, “inappropriate” and “bizarre.”
He was fired by Assembly Speaker Robin Vos Friday.
Bernier when she was sitting on a bipartisan panel and said wrapping the probe up sooner, rather than later, was a good idea – Gableman took that as a personal attack and drove all the way to Chippewa Falls to “badmouth” her.
