The Badgers slotted in at number 20 in the first U-S-A Today Coaches Football Poll released earlier this week.
Four Big Ten teams were in the Top 25, Ohio State at number-two, Michigan at number-six, Michigan State at number-14, and Wisconsin.
Iowa was just outside at number 26.
Penn State, Minnesota, and Purdue were all in the top 50.
No surprise, the Alabama Crimson Tide topped the poll.
