After going oh-for-three with three strikeouts, Willy Adames singled in the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Brewers edged Tampa Bay 4-3 Wednesday afternoon (August 12th).
Rowdy Tellez had tied the game with a homer in the ninth and made an important defensive stop in the top of the 10th.
Devin Williams picked up the win in relief.
The Brewers swept the series and stayed one game out of first place in the National League Central Division standings.
They take today off and open an important weekend series in St. Louis Friday night.
The Crew sits one game behind the Cardinals in the NL Central standings.
