They made a huge comeback, but in the end, the Wisconsin Timber Ratters lost in extra innings last night to the South Bend Cubs 8-7.
The Cubs had taken a 7-0 lead into the 5th inning, but the Rattlers never gave up, with left fielder Arbert Cipion driving in a pair of runs with a 5th inning triple.
Then in the 8th, following a pair of runs, designated hitter Darien Miller came to the plate with two on and one out.

Israel Puello had another off night, only lasting 3 and two thirds innings while allowing 7 hits and 7 runs.
James Meeker ended up taking the loss after coming on in the 9th.
The two teams will square off again tonight.
