Manitowoc County Highway Commissioner Greg Grotegut says the bridge on North Union Road in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids will be closing soon for replacement.
According to a news release from the highway commissioner, the closure is set to begin on Monday, August 22nd, and won’t be reopened until November.
Grotegut has indicated the posted detour route during the bridge replacement will be North Union Road to Hershau Road, to Fairway Drive, to US Highway 10, to Branch River Road, and back to North Union Road.
