A 35-year-old Manitowoc man is accused of sexually assaulting a minor.
The investigation into the man began when a Neenah child reported his actions to authorities with the Fox Child Advocacy Center.
The girl told investigators that the man has shown her pornographic material and touched her inappropriately.
The girl, whose age was not given, said that they felt “very uncomfortable and wanted to run” when she was being shown the videos, one of which was believed to contain a female around 14 years old.
She then described the man asking them to cuddle with him.
She called the act “disgusting” but did it anyway to ensure they wouldn’t get yelled at.
She then told officers that the man touched her “lower body part”.
The girl also told police that she was “waiting for him to go to sleep” so she could “run away without him noticing.”
It is not clear if the man has been arrested, but charges of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Person Under 16, and two counts each of Causing a Child to View Sexual Activity and Exposing a Child to Harmful Materials have been filed.
