There are two meetings on the schedule for today (August 8th) in the City of Two Rivers.
First up is the Joint Review Board, which will occupy the Council Chambers at 3:30 p.m.
They will be selecting a Chairman, Secretary, and Public Member for the newly created TID 17, and will get an overview of the boundaries and project plan.
TID 17 is located along the West Twin River where the old Eggers plant used to be.
The plan is for the construction of 55 units of affordable housing.
Then, at 5:30 p.m., the Plan Commission will gather in the Council Chambers.
They will also discuss items related to TID 17, as a public hearing will be held on the topic.
They will also review a draft ordinance to amend the regulations for driveways, and for the 20-year Comprehensive Plan.
