With the start of school just around the corner, Meijer has announced that for the second year in a row they will be offering a 15% discount for teachers.
Last year the discount only applied to school and home office equipment, but this year, they have expanded it to include additional categories, like children’s apparel and shoes, through September 5th.
According to surveys conducted by Adopt A Classroom, teachers spent an average of $750 on school supplies out of pocket during the 2020-2021 school year, compared to an average of $600 in 2015.
It is estimated that this discount will save teachers over $100 on their school-related supplies.
School is slated to begin August 30th for Manitowoc Public Schools.
