There are three meetings on the calendar to start the week in the City of Manitowoc.
First up is the Manitowoc Public Utilities Commission, which will gather at 4:00 p.m. in the MPU building on South 8th Street.
Then, at 5:00 p.m., the Common Council will be in the Council Chambers for a special meeting.
During that meeting, the Council will review recent requests from the Fire Department for a new cardiac monitor, and from the Parks and Recreation Department for a comprehensive plan.
They will then look over the US District Court Waiver of the Service of a Summons for a civil action, before discussing their equipment and service agreement with Cellcom.
Closing out the day will be the Public Safety Committee, which will gather in the Council Chambers as well.
After reviewing all of their monthly reports, the group will discuss the stop and yield signs in the area of South 12th and Flambeau Streets, and an ordinance to amend the section of the municipal code that regulates signs.
