The executive assistant and senior advisor to the president at Lakeshore Technical College is being honored by the Association of Community College Trustees.
Heidi Soodsma has received the Association’s 2022 Professional Board Staff Member Award for the association’s central region.
She is one of five candidates eligible for the association’s national-level award.
That award will be announced in October at an awards presentation held during the annual ACCT Leadership Congress in New York.
Soodsma joined LTC in 2014.
She works closely with the board of trustees, employees, and community members.
According to LTC President Dr. Paul Carlsen, Soodsma’s presidential support and strategic position on his leadership team have proven to be a valued asset to the board, himself, and the college.
Soodsma also serves as a board member for United Way of Manitowoc County and The Crossing of Manitowoc County.
