Organizers say most of the competition in the USA Triathlon National Championship will take place around Milwaukee’s lakefront Saturday and Sunday.
The transition zone will be at Urban Park – the green space just north of the Summerfest Grounds. Swimmers will start at Discovery World and end at that transition zone.
The course goes through the Lakeshore State Park inlet.
The 40-kilometer bike race will start and end at the transition zone.
Then, running will start at the transition zone and end just north of East Michigan Street and North Lincoln Memorial Drive.
The competition starts on both days at 7:00 a.m.
Saturday is the Olympic distance event and the sprint will be held Sunday.
