A Two Rivers man with a history of domestic abuse has once again been charged.
The Manitowoc Police Department was informed of a physical altercation involving a man and a woman in the area of East Magnolia Avenue and Holly Drive at around 2:30 Tuesday morning (August 2nd).
A witness reported that a man had thrown a woman out of a vehicle and had beat the victim.
The woman told the responding officers that the 31-year-old man was her ex-boyfriend and that he had been arrested for domestic violence in the past.
A search on CCAP shows the man has had many run-ins with the law, including domestic abuse and drug possession charges.
The victim explained that both of them are homeless and living in the aforementioned van.
She admitted that she and the man had taken heroin the day before, and believed he was irritable after coming down from a high.
As of last word, the suspect has not been located, but charges of Battery and Criminal Damage to Property, each with Domestic Violence Enhancers, have been referred to the District Attorney’s office, along with one count each of Misdemeanor and Felony Bail Jumping.
