One person is dead following what is being termed a “tactical situation” in Fond du Lac County.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office was called to a residence on Niagara Lane in Taycheedah yesterday afternoon (August 1st) on a report of a domestic dispute.
The man was reportedly armed with a gun, and the woman was unable to escape.
A tactical drone, K9 officers, and SWAT were all sent to the home to begin negotiating with the suspect, however, it is being reported that the suspect died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
No other injuries were reported, and no other weapons were fired or force was used.
The case is still under investigation.
